Lisa gets a Guinea pig, who is a bit of a terror, and burrows through the iconic sailboat painting. Homer buys a similar painting from the Van Houtens, which turns out to be worth tens of thousands of dollars. After a lot of fighting about who should get the money, it turns out the painting was a forgery all along.
That is an amazing guess, but sadly incorrect. I scrubbed that episode and while Marge does look at it similar to the shot here, there is already a hole from the Guinea pig. At the end of the episode is another shot, but it includes Homer who adds his own art.
