Yeah my Samsung TV has ads as soon as you turn the thing on. It slows if right down as well.
Ironically, sometimes those ads are for Xbox Game Pass.
I just bought a Samsung tv, will use it with an Apple TV 4K so I don’t have to deal with their shitty ads and software
Yeah I'm considering using something else other than the built-in Samsung smart features. The slowness bugs me the most! I haven't considered using an Apple TV device. Will take a look!

I also looked at the shield, but it seems it’s not very supported and it has ads if I’m not mistaken
Lol. $500 doesn't even cover my GPU. $500 is hella cheap for a full package WITH controller.
