I smoked a joint with Peaches many moons ago. She was fun. I was at her show very early to make sure we saw Cobra Killer. She just came up sat with my friend and I and asked if we had any weed. I had a couple of joints. It was the kind of venue where I was known and no one cared about weed and smoking wasn't banned then anyway. Also, they were super artist friendly. Was at the zoo in Brisbane. She didn't say much but her mate had a very poindexter outfit on and was really nice and chatty. She mainly just sat there woman spreading in her little hot pants. I love her. She was thankful and courteous in an I'm a "rock star ok" kind of way. She was definitely still very underground then though.

She performed solo and with Mignon, just them, her mc505 beatmachine and some long dildos, shake your dicks, shake your tits. No one including me knew who she was but a bunch of my mates had tickets, she blew us completely away.

Thanks for reminding of such a great memory. The whole show was incredible, I think Cornelious was headlining but I'm not sure. That may have been another year. The only big day out sideshows allowed were engineered by Regurgitator's manager Paul Curtis. He's a great person. Those shows were usually better than the actual big day out and were always artists he'd hand picked to tour down the east coast with the big day out. They were kind of shows rarely staged in Brisbane at the time and were a must see for a load of us.
