9 0 ReplyUnfortunately it only happens at certain latitudes above and below the equator, so it can't really happen just anywhere, just in the few places that are at those latitudes.

1 0 ReplyNo, they are separate countries. American Samoa isn't. It isn't a state, but neither are Guam and Puerto Rico. They're still part of the US.
