The packaging has the new style combadge but the figure has the older style. I don’t know if O’Brien ever wore this style uniform on DS9. Did they just reuse a TNG design and slap it into DS9 packaging?
I don't even think that head is an O'Brien head. If it is, it was sculpted by someone who had never seen Colm Meany and was working like a police sketch artist.
It kinda looks like Lt. Carey from Voyager.
He got done dirty as an engineer too. Instantly demoted and forced to work for his new Maquis boss with a temper problem, disappearing for four or five years and then getting killed.
