Sinabi ko from my previous message na kahit na Twitter is getting worse, it won't make me return to FB. Then Meta re-announced Threads again. Ok, I'll consider it.
If I can move from Reddit to Lemmy, I can do it again.
I know Mark isn't exactly a saint and I want Mastodon/Bluesky to succeed, but I just hate Elon so damn much that I hope this takes off and gives that shithead a rude awakening.
Some of Twitter's problems where already there before Jack Dorsey left. And now he's endorsing anti-vaxxer Robert F Kennedy Jr.
Yikes.
Some articles claim that they might support ActivityPub. Weird. But it could be a viable strategy to attract users from Mastodon or Misskey. Or it could be a way to reach the EU market as they seem to be having data privacy issues there.
