it's my birthday tomorrow and I can say I've never been so unenthusiastic for it. My girlfriend and I are on the verge of ending it (big issue arose yesterday), my dad's in ICU, there's been a death in the family, my best friend lives in Qld, work is not fulfilling right now, I have a relative that's dependant on me - In a home, but still quite dependant. I just want to cry. I have my kids with me thankfully. We will go have dinner tomorrow night.
But, I am ok. The sun will rise.

Fucking hell mate, sounds like things are really tough for you at the moment. Here's to hoping that whatever gods are out there deem to take away some of the shit they've flung at you.
I've been there on some of those points, but never at the same time. I think your outlook right now is about as good as it could be - the sun will rise and you'll survive the night. Sometimes, we get all of life's shit thrown at us at once. Please don't give up hope that things will get better at some point, even if that point might be a while away.

Yeah, thank you. The sun did rise and I felt miserable when I woke up, things have become much better. Still issues abound, but kids smiles and excitement are what make it.
