Ireland makes questionable GDPR cases 'confidential' and criminalises sharing information

Yesterday, the Irish DPC managed a narrow win in Parliament and got a new law passed that shall make criticism of DPC procedures impossible.

The coalition government this week passed a law which allows the Data Protection Commission to declare cases "confidential" and making it a criminal offence to share information about these cases.
