Keygen's

Could anyone explain to me why computers mark no matter what keygen as trojan viruses? I talk about windows defender. Is there any reason to do so if the keygen's are clear? :D

A virus will modify computer code for malicious reasons, and what does the keygen do ? well the same thing so it is flagged but we run it as we want to change the CB code.
