How do we deal with this?

I ask, as fireworks go off nearby. Loud enough to make my teeth and chest vibrate.

Hiding in my room only goes so far, since I get it from both sides of my house.

You can try noise canceling headphones, or a loud uneven white noise generator (though that's not super great for fireworks)
- When my husband finally got home, he took charge and made it better. Turns out my favorite YouTuber is perfect for blocking out the fireworks, with headphones.
