I wish more people understood how much we autistic folks struggle with summer

There's all the bright lights and noise of Fourth of July, Memorial Day, and Labor Day, or even the beach. There are so many social expectations we struggle with. And the heat itself can be overwhelming. Does anyone else find summer heat to be completely draining? It's so much mental and emotional labor...

    Summer without air conditioning is a form of torture applied by the CIA, especially during the nights

    • Yeah, it got into the low 90s today here, and we have no AC. We open windows at night and use fans and cold food and drinks during the day.
