Having enjoyed this series since the first book, it struck me that the main character's traits were very in line with ASD. I had to see if others thought the same, and found this article that I think summarizes it well.

I think a big part of what makes it work in a good way, is that the author didn't intend to write an autistic character. She formed it around her own frustrations with society in general and social anxiety.

Has anyone else read the series? What did you think of it?
