I love Romanesco broccoli, too. It reminds me of fractals. I like that you can cook it and it doesn't get mushy, like broccoli does. I had a recipe for baked Romanesco "Mac" and "cheese" and it was beautiful and delicious. I think it had purple broccoli, too. Nobody else in the house liked it, though.
that sounds amazing! People are usually so surprised by the colors. It once took me 5 people to figure out how to scan it at the grocery store register because they hadn't seen it before.
