What an absolutely terrible headline. So I'll save you a click, what the article is actually about is that the biggest oil drilling companies are diversifying into various forms of renewable energy now that the oil industry is very obviously taking a downturn. This isn't some grand gesture around saving the planet, it's hedging their bets.
Took them bastards long enough.
