You just found out you have the first overall pick in a 0.5 PPR 12 team snake draft -- What's your realistic best-case-scenario picks for the first three rounds?
I'd love a CMC, Burrow, and best available WR combo.
So many ways to map out this first round though -- it's concensus feels way lower than normal this year.
I personally wouldn’t go QB at 24, I think there are some great QB options that will be available around round 5. Or you could take a late round darling like Richardson, Goff or Daniel Jones.
I’d go hero RB in HPPR, CMC, WR WR. That’d give you ASRB/Waddle Higgins/Olave around the 2-3 turn. Save your QB until the 4-5 turn and you can either get a 3rd WR or Hock/Kittle at the 4-5 turn with Fields/Lawerence at QB
Yeah, I've been looking into Fields a bit more. With his rushing as a top tier baseline, and passing weapons improving a bit, he's shifting to become my more optimal QB target. Would still have Watson and Lawrence behind him if I missed out.
If I had CMC as my RB1 I’d be willing to go for a 3rd WR to give me a sure flex.. I really like the potential of Gibbs but I feel like the potential you give up by going safe with a 3rd WR you get back by having a solid flex and bye week option.
Gibbs is the high risk high reward play in my opinion.
