Have they postdated their toots? Their first toot is from 27 july 2021?? @ltrlp have you been on mastodon that long?
Germany seems to have been an earlier adopter of Mastodon (the instance is hosted by the government). If I understood it correctly they just decided to stop using Twitter, it's not like they started the instance today.
It says tooted by the Mastodon-Twitter crossposter, which has been killed by space Karen 8 months ago, so I am guessing they were using mastodon from that time
