3 0 ReplyThis is due to shared memory being counted for every process sharing it though, I think. If 20 processes share 1GB of memory, that is only 1 GB of memory, but macOS might report it as 20GB.
2 0 ReplyMan..., at least you are running miscellaneous apps, I just use Firefox and had to close a few tabs to get back to green bar on memory pressure...
1 0 ReplyIn my case it's only had it happen to me 3 times over the course of 1-2 years. It wasn't consistent in running wild.
