  • @Evkob Beans *and* toast 🤔 It's beans *on* toast. Queen? We don't have one!

I'll give you the queuing, but what better way is there? And we defo have a lot of stuff in museums that probably shouldn't be.

    • Hey just because Betty's dead doesn't mean that (some of) you lot aren't still weirdly loyal to her.

I'd argue that beans and toast is a completely accurate way of describing the dish, as is beans on toast.

      • The beans are not amiable colleagues of the toast. The beans are ON the toast, proudly displaying their dominance as they slowly turn the toast to glorious orange mush.

        Totally different things.

      • @Evkob
        "Beans and toast"
Maybe we could have "Bangers with mash", "Toad and a hole", "Cheese with toast"

As for old Lizzy, my whole life we had a queen, I thought it would be monumental when she popped her clogs. But it's made virtually no difference. I can't even remember if we have any coins with Charlie on the front, how will they fit his ears on it?

I've never understood the worshipping royalty or anyone unelected. I'd probably opt for a republic or something 🤷‍♂️

      • That isn't the name, its like saying:

        • Mac with Cheese
        • Sausage in a bun
        • Chicken BLT Sandwich

Sure its technically correct but people either won't recognise it or think your saying it weirdly.
