I think pixelfed is getting the embrace of death right now
It’s been happening for over a month.
Just our instance, or all of it?
Images are heavier, unfortunately, so it wouldn't surprise me.
Just our instance. I signed up today and the instance keeps on going to a 504 Gateway Timeout. The main instance (pixelfed.social) works fine. I might switch.
I'm on a smaller one and it seems to be absolutely groaning under the weight. I'm gonna try again in a few weeks after things have stabilized.
I tried months ago and it's been doing the same thing
