Another new user here, I have a question. I just saw somewhere that the content of my "all" tab will depend on which instance my account is from, is that true? I assumed the content of "all" would be the same for everyone since it is from all instances?
You will see the same content unless your instance doesn't federate with another one (due to not knowing it exists or having it blocked).
If you're on one of the larger servers you will pretty much see the same stuff except for maybe lemmygrad which is blocked in beehaw and sopuli but not on lemmy.ml
At least one person on your instance also has to be subscribed to a community for it to show up in All (you'll only notice this on brand new instances, you'll have to subscribe to everything you might want to see)
