I read through all the Twitter discourse and was a little on his side, seemed like they were denying because he wasn't a "major candidate" and I don't think he is one but you see why someone might be mad about that designation.
Then I actually googled it and learned that Secret Service only covers major candidates within 120 days of the General Election, which would be November 2024 and way too far away. There's a clear, objective reason to reject the request.
This is like me asking Medicare to pay for botox at age 40 and getting rejected and then complaining that it was because they said I was too ugly. There's an argument they should cover more medical procedures but I'm 40.
This is how RFK Jr tends to operate. By taking a statement with a grain of truth, he extrapolates a masterful inveigling.
