How does one find clubs for anything?

Where would you start looking? Facebook? University? School? Maybe a library? I got no clue

I'm Turkish so whatever I want to find will be even more niche or difficult.. hah...

I use meetup.com to find groups.
- Meetup has been enshittifying hard since even before COVID.
- Useless for anything in places non English
  
  Depends on the location, in large cities of non English speaking countries (e.g. Paris) it's quite useful
