This one is so easy to verify it’s a joke. Any fool can go outside and see how hot it is.
- The problem is that it's not equally hot everywhere and people's baselines change, so you can get a surprising number of people to go along with this
  
  "It's fine here" or "I've adapted to the heat here" is very common to see.
