Trump’s chaotic campaign strategy is a preview of what we should expect if he wins.
Edit: As sad as it makes me to change it, the revised headline is better and more accurate than "running his campaign into the ground," which is what it used to be before they changed it but forgot the title meta tag.
His supporters have shown they’re gonna vote for him either way. If (when?) he gets into power, he’ll be deposed very quickly by his own supporters, leaving that Sock Puppet JD Vance doing whatever Peter Thiel tells him to do.
Why do you think he will be deposed? I think you underestimate his cult of personality support and I think his supporters would see it as a betrayal if he stepped down right away for any reason.
Because he’s ancient and the job is done - to elect a Dictator
As soon as he’s elected, unless I am mistaken, there’s no way for the electorate or anyone else to eject him beyond the 25th amendment and that just puts the VP in power. Maybe he’ll switch Vance for Musk at some future point?
Clearly, I’m no expert here, but there is also clearly no way the Suit-wearing Cheeto is gonna last until the next election cycle and a lot of this will end up at the Supreme Court where we all get royally fucked…
I really think JD Vance as a supreme dictator would have a very hard time keeping his seat in power without being dragged into the street and murdered Mussolini style. Donald Trump on the other hand has rabid fervent support from his supporters that I have never seen any other leader in the western world in my 34 years alive.
Like Reagan’s last term but less Alzheimer’s and more loud fascist rhetoric and a ton of executive orders and heritage foundation making moves towards right wing monarchy.
