What are some subtlety toxic perks of Reddit you've only noticed since leaving?

I no longer pick up my phone to check reddit every few minutes. I won't be installing any mobile Lemmy apps. I can watch a movie or TV show without my phone in my hand. Best thing that could have happened for my Reddit addiction.

I still find myself opening my reddit app because somehow it still works (Relay). But 20x less. I do open Jerboa though...
I’m using Lemmy a bit too much actually lol. I need to limit it.
I still do. But then I remember that its gone and I put my phone back down and find something else to do.
