A SpaceX rocket soared into the sky Saturday with two passengers on board, leaving two seats empty to return American astronauts who have been stranded for months on the International Space Station, NASA said.
Wait, "stranded for months"? It's only been a handful of weeks, maybe a month at this point, right?
I'm all for exposing the money pit of the historical suck from the money teat of NASA that are involved in the capsule issues, but let's not be hyperbolic.
It depends on when you start counting. Starliner left the ISS 21 days ago, but if you count from the planned end date, it's 106 days overdue. Personally, I would classify having a return vehicle that is considered too risky to operate as being “stranded”.
