Has the battery drain issue with Samsung 6.1 Update been resolved?

I've avoided updating for months now seeing all the complaints.

Did Samsung resolve the issue?

So that is what it was? I also noticed my battery draining considerably faster despite zero usage.
- Absolutely, if you have a search, you will see the internet is just full of reports of it. I am not updating until / or if, it is ever resolved.
