What game is she playing with the narrow little shoulders and then she pretends she’s so relatable with the rolls hanging over the jeans? I swear that high-waisted jeans are only meant for standing! I mid-rise works as a good sitting jean (when you buy a size that fits).
To say “little shame pockets” tells the entire story. This woman hasn’t made peace with her body and she is checking it constantly. Posting these things is doing the exact opposite of what she says she’s trying to accomplish. She is making women think about things they have never thought of before and now they are self-conscious. Is this as manipulative and deliberate as I think it is or does she really think most women think the same way?
She doesn't have the capacity to think about other women/people. She lacks accountability in every aspect of her life, so even if you told her she was making you self-conscious, it would be a "you" problem. She does assume everyone thinks like her because she can't fathom that people think differently than her, the center of the universe.
I wanna know vow many times she can make the same damn video of “this is how it looks standing and this is how it looks sitting” like holy shit we get it, it’s just the same video over and over again
That Dana person and Mik person do that too. Like, we know about sitting and standing and how it affects clothes. It’s boring. A great influencer called her out on this crap years ago she’s an Italian plus sized woman but I don’t follow any influencers so I forget her name.
Even gymnasts when they tilt their waist they get a crease. When I was 100LBS I had a roll when I sat. It’s skin. It’s genetics. It’s called “bodies are not marble statues”. We should celebrate what our bodies do for us (run races, fight cancer, protest, volunteer, carry our kids, care for sick loved ones, survive trauma) but holy crap can we stop with the whole “I’m a regular store size I have rolls”. Almost everyone her age does (I do), and it’s okay but it’s also very unimportant. I’ve never looked at my partner coworkers, clients or friends and thought “ew those jeans look awful when they sit” but I have felt pain from wearing jeans like hers and life’s too short to buy shitty clothes made in a sweatshop in too small of a size.
Stop buying fast fashion Sarah, and stop pushing affiliate codes on people to buy high rise “strigid” bullshit jeans that LOOK like they hurt! Even in person she’s not plus sized, and she can definitely buy bigger stuff or stuff that doesn’t squeeze, pinch or hurt her body. I wear yoga pants or leggings and comfy dresses, and if something doesn’t fit I get it tailored, take it in myself or give it to a friend. But when people say size up and she says the waist gaps, then WHY IS SHE PUSHING CODES FOR “amazing” JEANS THAT ARE BAD JEANS ALL THE TIME?
Remember how thrilled she was when she had the dress altered for Briony’s birthday bash? I don’t know why she doesn’t understand that most clothes don’t fit people properly - the hips fit but the waist gaps - it’s because everyone is a little different! You’re so right that finding someone who does alterations is the amazing and it’s money well-spent. Get quality clothes and they last forever!
To your point about doing something of value instead of the sitting and standing business - I’ve concluded this woman is only interested in herself. She lacks any curiosity about the world around her and can’t see how it can affect her and her life.
She could totally afford high quality clothes tailored to her body, but that would actually get expensive and wouldn't satisfy the gnawing need to shop ALL the time, trying to fill that yawning cave of empty at her core. She's a dopamine chaser who doesn't want to spend money, in part because she doesn't even care about most of this crap after using/wearing/showing it off once. Almost everything in her life is about the rush of social media feedback.
Hilarious she can post this over and over but not share her fitness journey. The fupa and rolls overflowing in jeans that are too tight won’t trigger any toxic behavior’s but talking about exercising will 🤔
I mean if she wore the correct size and improved her posture, this would happen a lot less. But doing that takes away the only grift she has left to keep people following her and convince companies she's actually relatable.
