PvP has struggled badly in Destiny in recent years, not just in terms of metas, but mainly in terms of what kind of resources were devoted to it.
What are everyone's thoughts on the Marathon situation? Many PvP players are worried for Destiny, and many others are worried Marathon is taking from the Destiny team in general too much.

@oryx Honestly I think I'm okay with D2 PVP going on the back burner. Though I do really like Gambit.
Destiny's strength has always been PVE IMO, but I know there's a ton of people who LOVE Crucible so I'll be interested to see what they say
