What can you get to within a 15-minute walk of your house?
A recent YouGov survey asked Americans what they think they should be able to get to within a 15-minute walk of their house.
Of these choices, I can currently walk to all of them from my apartment, aside from a university (no biggie, I'm not currently studying, although there is a Tafe within walking distance), a hospital, and a sports arena.

In a 15 minute walk, in the Greater #Montreal , I have access to:
- Grocery Store
- (Miniature) Park
- Pharmacy
- Bus Stop
- Restaurant
- Post Office
- Bank
- Gas Station (why‽)

In Montréal too. I barely leave my neighbourhood for anything besides special events. I have almost everything I need within a 15 minute walk. It is the best way to live IMHO.

Yep. Same experience here, in Rosemont. I did everything I could to make sure it was a walkable neighborhood. Indispensable.Although I laughed a bit at the item "gas station", as a measure for *walking* neighborhood... some habits are hard to remove!
