i dont like the whole instance thing, why do i need to have several websites instead of just one united one, its annoying.
You only need an account on one instance :) I am on lemmy.zip but can still see and participate in other instances/communities.
Well unless an instance is defederated I guess which is perhaps what you mean?
Remember how reddit fucked up. That won't happen here because of there being multipes instances. You got contingency. Also as an end user I know its frustrating lately, but everyone is working on making the experience more easy and cohesive. Just be patient
You just need one account to browse mostly everything. For example, I'm from lemmy.fmhy.ml yet I can see your comment which is hosted from lemmy.world
Though I recommend joining smaller instances (like mine) to spread out the server load and make it faster to browse stuff.
