Yep the moves that the team should be going for are reclamation projects, and acquiring bad contracts for more assets (i.e. draft capital).
The cardinal sin the Olshey era did was we never dipped our toes in the lottery to surround Dame with talent that could have been acquired by trading assets from the lottery. Or Developed lottery level assets that could have helped Dame. By the time Cronin actually implemented said plan, it was too late. Olshey also gave away too many assets to acquire mediocre talent.
I hope the lesson we learned in the Sharpe/ Henderson era is that we cant be too good too fast. we need to fill our cupboard with assets to build a better foundation.
