Standard fantasy fare- the art is pretty but imperfect . The MC is a powerful mage who gets a bit blushy for my taste. There is a fighting mode you can skip by playing story mode which makes it a little abrupt.

They also have only the one love interest, the Prince. He seems okay. The appeal is apparently having that relationship 8 different ways. Is female led an option? Ruling the throne through my adoring husband king would be a thing I'm into. But don't see that they're sharing clues about relationship ending types at the moment. Rated 16+ and planning a Kickstarter?
I've been curious about Galen Games for a few months but not pulled the trigger on anything. Maybe this VN will be the start.

Just got done playing it. I liked it. It's got a fantasy world that seems well thought out, a solid plot outside of the romance. Only one LI, but he's likable. And it seems to be a stat raiser, which I know aren't every one's cup of tea, but I quite like them. There are a few programming issues with the demo; I couldn't find a way to access the menu inside of battle. I also wish that they had spent less time on the lip animations, and more time on the facial expressions.
@Catch42 true enough. I don't look up while they talk. I look up when the words describe and expression. Lip syncing is wasted on me.
I like some of the stat raisers I've run into but wouldn't want anything more than Royal Alchemist levels.
Does Galen Games just dress up the same guy and put him in all their games? He seems eerily similar
I was wondering the same thing. He’s explicitly the same guy in the holiday Duel chroma game, it’s a short prequel game. There’s also a character named Lord Keldran in their other series that looks basically the same, but I don’t think they’re supposed to be the same person?
😆 Maybe the writer is just in love with this fictional guy and is just making whole games to help him exist. I will definitely be up for it if there is some really good relationship dynamics to try with him. But if it's just him or not him and various game states I'd be disappointed
