lemon cake poem
Waiting for the lemon cake cool
Before I slap on icing so sweet.
Heap of nutella on a teaspoon,
Choc and hazelnut such a treat.I got a craving I can't ignore,
I think losing my damn head.
I got a craving I want more,
Tummy rumbing for that sweetbread.Oh, impatience rising within me!
Gimme that sugar fix, entropy!
Hurry up and cool my cake!
Took me forty minutes to bake!Ok great now I want freshly baked lemon cake and I've decided I'm going to make one tomorrow to take to family dinner. Are they terribly difficult to make properly for someone who has only ever made packet mix cakes?
Nothing wrong with packet mix cake. Just buy a good one.
