And importantly, is it a harmful one that should be separated from my Ficus?

It's a tiny 1cm long slug. You guessed correctly.
Slugs eat plants. Chuck it outside.
And clean your plant, there could be more, or worse, eggs. You might want to repot it in fresh soil too.

7 0 ReplyPick the slugs off off and throw them outside, or into a cup with some beer in it if you want to personally kill them.
Wipe the plant down with some neem oil to debug anything else that may have hitched a ride.
