XMPP is pretty much federated without advertising it as being federated. This is just how it works.

14 0 ReplyI loved Trillian for being a messaging app that just integrated gchat, msn, ICQ, etc. I miss a unified messenger so much. I think it died when SMS became mainstream.

I had ICQ, Aim, gchat, and yahoo all in one client. Those were the days.
