That needs some quotation marks. The light novel has been on hiatus since 2018. That was 5 years ago with very little activity since. I think they may have announced the names of the new 2 volumes but the series has basically been ice since then.
Ah, shit, I was just going off wikipedia saying it's still running; I assumed the lack of new anime was just a covid thing :/
Nah they also cut back season 3 probably because they're running out of course material. First 2 seasons were 25 episodes and the third was 12. Shame because I'd like to see another season but for all intents and purposes it's looking to go the way of many animes before it where they ended on a cliff hanger and then never finish the series.
