Fair enough. I still feel like vampire bats might be a threat. Also, we don't know what reservoirs harbor vampirism. Perhaps sparrows are carriers.
2 0 Replyhow would sparrows transfer vampirism without teeth?
2 0 ReplyThey wouldn't directly. They'd have to be bitten by something else that acquires vampirism from them and transfers it to another host, like malaria.
2 0 Replylatent vampirism...
2 0 ReplyYeah, I think that's how reservoirs work, but I'm not a public health expert.
2 0 Replyimagine having to explain at the vampires anonymous meeting that you got it by cleaning out your bird feeder.
2 0 ReplyI think you'd have to at least have an open wound and come into contact with fresh blood since it's a bloodborn pathogen.
2 0 Reply...do we know that? maybe vampires just have really bad dental hygiene
2 0 ReplyI think vampirism being a bloodborn pathogen is the consensus.
2 0 Replycould be a fungal infection
2 0 ReplyMaybe. Further study is definitely needed.
1 0 ReplyYeah, as long as it's bloodborn.
