Thank god we are not... I would need a looot of happy pills to exist in that society.
I'm in Buffalo, 4-5 liters of vodka a week is the typical prescription. But seriously, it's not as bad as the news stories would make one think. Not everywhere anyway. Maybe I'm just in a bubble.
