Calls for a second CEO shooter on c/[email protected]
https://lemmy.nz/post/18068554/12968584
Under article 131 of the Dutch criminal code, which governs lemmy.world, inciting crimes is considered sedition and is illegal. These comments appear to advocate for a second CEO shooting, as "arrested it at a McDonalds" is a reference to Luigi Mangione. Mangione claims that the evidence was planted on him by the police, and this claim is consistent with the methods employed by the actual CEO shooter. Nonetheless, Luigi has become the face of the CEO shooting in the public eye. The third comment here by @[email protected] clearly calls for a second CEO shooter to act, and is therefore inciting murder. Under Dutch law, this is sedition, and cannot legally be allowed on lemmy.world.

Under Article 131 of the Dutch Criminal Code, which governs lemmy.world, inciting others to commit a crime is sedition. This comment by @[email protected] clearly incites others to shoplift from corporate chain stores, which is considered sedition. This isn't allowed on lemmy.world because it's illegal in the country where the servers are hosted.

Support for illegal North Korean hot dogs on c/[email protected]
https://lemmy.ml/comment/15949184
In North Korea, hot dogs are illegal. Therefore, inciting North Koreans to cook and eat hot dogs is considered sedition under Dutch law. @[email protected]'s comment about delicious treason dogs is a joke and is unlikely to be seen by any North Koreans. But if it was accompanied by an intent to incite North Koreans to eat hot dogs, then the comment is illegal under the Dutch laws that govern lemmy.world.

Support for assassinating world leaders on c/[email protected]
https://lemmy.world/comment/14355949
Under article 131 of the Dutch Criminal Code, the second comment here (and maybe the first) is considered sedition, as it advocates for illegal assassinations of world leaders. While Adolf Hitler is dead, the first comment could maybe be construed as intending to incite additional assassination attempts on Donald Trump. The second comment by @[email protected] unequivocably incites assassination of current world leaders.
Lemmy.world is bound to Dutch law, and therefore cannot host these comments. They would have been legal to post on other instances.
