Fans of deep sea biodiversity, it’s your lucky day because this highlight video is over thirteen minutes of some of the best sights spotted during our H1993 dive of the NA153 expedition to explore the deep seas near Johnston Atoll. Whether you’re especially interested in crustaceans like the “weird” Polychelidae slipper lobster or passionate about deep sea fishes like the rattfish and halosaur, this video will certainly deliver. Enjoy an extra large and thick bamboo coral taller than ROV Hercules, translucent pink sea cucumber, and even a deep sea lava tunnel spotted on the rocky seafloor.

Woohoo! 4 windows! (So the live stream started on 24 April?)
Anyway - this is a pretty good channel - fascinating deep water content!
- www.abc.net.au The Coral Sea lies next to the Great Barrier Reef. Why don't we know more about it?
Australian scientists have found "incredibly high coral cover" in deeper sections of the Coral Sea relatively undisturbed by fishing and sedimentary run-off.
Nice to get some not negative news - did the article say anything about the coral species types in the deeper water? I am assuming they are different species and probably will NOT recolonize the warmer, shallower (more acidic?) areas? Fish are way more mobile.
