Tonight's music playlist
Might sound sorta silly, but as a very preschool activity I like playing different music from around the world and throughout history. It's important to be exposed to more than just what's on the radio.
- "Song of Seikilos" - Greek - (c.200 BCE - 100 CE)
- "Guangling San" - Chinese - (618-907 AD)
- "Hurrian Hymn No. 6" - Mesopotamian - 1400 BC
- "Iroquois Water Drum Song" - American
The last song in particular was really interesting, he started kicking his leg to the beat.
Ended the night out with some cool upbeat swing/jazz music that is reasonably modern.
- Hey Pachuco! - Royal Crown Revue
- Jumpin' Jack - Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
- Rush - Seatbelts
- Tank! - Seatbelts

I never considered it before (Overpriced useless Internet junk is a dime a dozen) until I heard an interview with someone running an independent school that used it for math curricula.
