I was a little nervous that jt would stay gone as it was a decent carrot to keeping me motivated into doing my part to have those those trees planted by using the service from searching and clicking on ads.

The new results rating system
I like the new emote option card that allows you to rate your search results. It looks nice and makes it easy to give feedback.
Hopefully this will hasten the search results improvements.

I’m starting to see more information cards
Im getting better results that show definitions and wikipedia cards within the search results.

Adding Ecosia to Firefox Android without the App
You can add Ecosia as a search engine to Firefox Android by going to
Settings - Default Search Engine - Addthen entering the following:- Name - Ecosia
- Search URL - https://ecosia.org/search?q=%s
- Complete URL - https://ac.ecosia.org/autocomplete?q=%s&type=list
This will also allow you to use the Firefox Search widget on your home screen to search Ecosia.
I tried using the Addon to no avail, so I had to manually add the search myself.
Thanks for creating the community! I had forgotten to use Ecosia on Android for a while now. So much missed opportunity

How long have you used Ecosia and how did you find it?
I personally been using it for almost 5 years. I heard about it from a colleague a few years before that but I forgot about it, and then an online ad reminded me to check them out again.
